Spring 2 MTP

The Early Years Foundation Stage is the curriculum we follow in the Nursery at King's Furlong Infant School and Nursery. We recognise each child as an individual and use the Early Years Outcomes to help us support every child's progress with developmentally appropriate, play-based teaching and learning.

 

In the Nursery we have a team of experienced Early Years Practitioners led by a fully qualified teacher.

 

The curriculum is planned based on the children's interests. Assessment takes place through observation of the child. This assessment then informs the staff of the next steps of learning and development for individual children and appropriate opportunities are planned to meet these individual needs. The whole of the EYFS curriculum is covered both inside and outside. Children have free flow access into the garden during all sessions and in all weathers.
